Trauma Healing

In the aftermath of the world’s greatest tragedies—from genocide and natural disasters to domestic abuse—people endure wounds of the heart. Without the healing that can only be found through Christ, they can become trapped in cycles of poverty and violence. But through God’s Word, hurting people can find hope. Bible-based trauma healing sessions are designed to:

  • Equip the Church to help suffering people encounter God’s Word
  • Help people take their pain and suffering to the cross for healing from trauma

American Bible Society, alongside partner organizations around the world,  is working to use the beautiful restoration narrative in the gospel to heal the wounds of the heart. As image bearers of Christ, our commitment to the mission field of the traumatized is deep and our passion is to see the world through mercy-filled eyes. Join us in this important work. Learn more about Trauma Healing and the transforming power of God’s Word.
